ESL Student of the Year 2010-2011
Mingma Sherpa is from the town of Namehe in Nepal. She came to the United States in 1997 and lived, for a time with friends in Montana, where she helped them by watching their children. When she and her husband, Ngima, moved to Sonoma, they opened a store just off Sonoma Plaza called the Himalayan Bazaar. » read more...

We are pleased to recognize Mr. David Fernando Peralta as an outstanding student at Sonoma Valley Adult School.
