Hospitality: Don't Pour Wine Without It
If you pour wine in a winery tasting room, or would like to, then this class is for you. The purpose of the winery tasting room is to make customers feel comfortable and to sell wine. You can increase sales by providing customers with genuine hospitality. You'll learn exclusive tips and techniques that you will use in your daily interactions with your customers. Unlike other training, this workshop uses Montessori-inspired educational principles which effectively translate to your work in the winery tasting room. It's all about making a connection with your customers.

Instructor Pamela Personette, (M. Ed.) teaches customer service in a real-life, practical manner. Pam’s classes provide tips, techniques and methods that sales staff members can use on their very next shift. Pam is a Montessori teacher; she knows how to impart information in a fun and friendly style. She teaches classes appropriate for any retail setting and she specializes in winery tasting rooms.
Beside Montessori teaching, Pam has experience in the corporate world, including ABC television and CBS radio. She has worked in the tasting rooms of several diverse wineries and served as concierge at an upscale resort. She is currently Director of Hospitality Training, Illumination Hospitality Group.
