In this class you will learn basic movements in Aikido, a traditional, non-competitive Japanese martial art sometimes described as “moving Zen.” Aikido techniques blend with the attack and finish with a pin or throw. Beginners are taught from a simple static (start/stop) format, and then slow-flowing techniques.
